His journey is anything but ordinary—transitioning from a career as a professional fighter to becoming a nationally recognized health and safety expert. This path reflects his lifelong commitment to excellence and protecting others. Determined to be the best in his field, Dr. Himes earned a Master’s degree in Health and Safety, a PhD in Health Education, and a second doctorate in Health and Safety Sciences.

Guided by the principle that everyone should leave work in the same condition they arrived—or better—Dr. Himes has made it his mission to ensure safe working environments across industries. His passion for immediate, effective response to workplace incidents led him to become an EMT and, later, a National Registered Paramedic.

Dr. Himes holds several prestigious professional certifications, including the CSP (Certified Safety Professional), ASP (Associate Safety Professional), and CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) designations through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP). He is also an authorized OSHA outreach trainer, having completed the OSHA 510, 500, and 502 courses.
